I have 3 hybrid Mavericks and I'm happy. A $20k Slate was going to be my around the farm truck. Unlicensed and a beater. Still undecided, but I can buy 2 4x4 used Silverado's for the price.
Not the battery but the heat n the vehicle. I used to know the numbers but I think AC was 35000 BTU and heat was 80,000BTU to make it comfy. A lot of AMPS!!
If I ever receive one it'll be in a somewhat warm garage plugged in. Remote started and warmed up before unplugging. Trips generally less than 25 miles. To the north cabin is 50 miles and can be plugged in there to the east cabin it's 40 miles and can be plugged in there. I think it'll work but...
I thought this mornings article said 27 MY. I'll trade in my Maverick to get one. Have 3 Mavericks at this time will probably keep the XLT and get an electric. Just a comfy golf cart like my XL is on the farm.
Might just save some lives too. People drown when their electrical systems fail under water. Doors locked and windows up. Something automakers don't talk about.
