Option to make a Slate pickup a flatbed?

So my question is might we eventually see an option to make a slate pickup a flatbed? Or maybe the fold down bed sides like a keytruck? Seems like charging port and tail lights would have to be sorted to do it. But perhaps that's it.

You should look at the images of the proposed body space frame. I doubt the engineering of that frame will allow a flat bed as the vertical sides of the bed portion are needed to resist twisting.
