Here's how the Slate in pickup truck form compares to a Ford Maverick. About two feet shorter overall, but longer bed by about 6 inches.

Yet convert the Slate to a 4-passenger vehicle like the Maverick already is and one pretty much loses the pickup box altogether. And the Maverick is a 4-door and is already priced below $30K

You're comparing an EV to ICE, and that alone makes the comparison a non-starter for me.
