And I didn’t get any indication from the press release video, but did they explain why the dismal towing capacity? 1000lbs isn’t even a small boat and trailer, barely a motorcycle and trailer. Thanks for the heads up. Corrected the dimensions above. The bed length is 60" inches and width is 42.9" inches.

I'm guessing the bed width of 42.9" is between the wheel wells and if you carry a 4'x8' sheet it would rest on top of the wheel wells? like this photo. Alternatively of course you could tilt it. If so, how wide is it between the bed walls (not wheel wells)?

The photo here indicates that you're correct, it would need to be 48+ above the wheel well. If you look closely, the ply is a foot or so above the tailgate. It looks like there's slots molded into the sidewalls above the wheel well to span 2x6s across to make a little shelf too.
